These guys sing in good Portuguese in lyrics that go from nihilism to social engagement in a blink of a note. "Zebra" is an usual Brazilian soccer slang for a game result that is unexpected, surprising, favorable for the weaker team. First used in the 40?s by Rio coach Gentil Cardoso, it?s originated in a popular fortune game named "jogo do bicho" (animal?s game) that doesn?t contains zebra among its 25 animals, so a zebra could never possibly win. |
